Sandalwood Amayris Essential Oil, also known as West Indian Sandalwood Oil, is steam distilled from the bark and branches of the Amyris balsamifera tree. Its aroma closely resembles traditional sandalwood, making it a popular, more affordable alternative for aromatherapy, perfumery, and meditation practices.

Therapeutically, Amyris oil is valued for its calming and relaxing properties. It helps relieve anxiety, tension, and insomnia, supports meditation, and is considered an aphrodisiac. It has been traditionally used to treat coughs, colds, influenza, diarrhea, cystitis, and vaginal infections. Its emollient qualities also make it suitable for soothing and moisturizing the skin.
